Sin City 2005

Popular comic book writer Frank Miller sees four of his short stories brought together with some intertwining elements of his Sin City Universe of film noir. Filmed in black and white with some sporadic use of color for accent make these stories stand out. With plenty of criminals, crooked cops, and sexy women “Sin City” is a character all in itself. The stories revolve mostly around three characters played by Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke, and Clive Owen all caught up in violence and corruption.

Soul 2020

Joe (Jamie Fox) is a part time middle school music teacher who dreams of being a jazz musician. After a successful audition with a jazz group Joe falls into a sewer on his way to work at the school separating his soul from his body. While his soul starts his training he pleads with those in charge to get him back to his body. He makes a deal to assist with soul 22 (Tina Fey) and if he can help he may get a chance to get back to his body. One of Disney/Pixar’s best films since 2003’s Finding Nemo
