The Irishman 2019

Frank Sheeran (Robert Duval) “The Irishman” recalls his past from a chance encounter with Russel Bufalino (Joe Pesci) head of a major crime family to his days as a high official with the Teamsters union. When Bufalino asks him if he “paints houses” Sheeran recalls his time in World War II when indeed he learned how to kill on command. Bufalino introduces Sheeran to Jimmy Hoffa (Al Pacino) who becomes a lifelong friend. The film told from the perspective of Sheeran deals with his involvement with the disappearance of Jimmy Hoffa and what part, if any, he played.
